Vanquished Foes // Creative Director & Director
Turtle Beach needed to relaunch their patented technology called Superhuman Hearing. The technology works like a scope on a rifle, but instead of using it for visual, you are using it for audio. With Turtle Beach's Superhuman Hearing headsets the subtlest sounds can now be clearly heard. Your enemies will have no idea how you heard them and will give you a killer advantage.
This campaign flipped the gaming world on it's head and put killed video games foes in psycho- therapy. Our disgruntled villains lament and howl about how the landscape has changed and they were no longer able to kill gamers as easily as before.
For the launch spot we find ourselves in one of these group sessions and to expand the into a trans-media campaign we gave each "Vanquished Foe" their own moment to express their own dismay at their demise.
To further the Vanquished Foes campaign we asked the "Foes" to review the products that was the cause of there death. They obviously were not happy with the product, but it made the very clear point to millions of gamers that Turtle Beach headsets where exactly the advantage they needed to "Hear Everything. Defeat Everyone."

In 2016 Turtle Beach also sponsored two of the best professional video game teams in the world, Team Optic and Faze Clan. With this sponsorship my team and I were given front row seats to this incredibly dynamic, massively growing subculture. With great team work, we ultimately raised the bar and set the tone the portrayal of this new worldwide sport.
Redesign of Turtle Beach Website
As a part of all brand work being done, the next major task was a redesign of the Turtle Beach website. This was a challenge, as we had to keep the underlying architecture, while redesigning using the unifying campaign elements. It looked awesome and was a great step forward for the brand.
